The Roseland Little League Baseball program has been in this community since 1952.  In 1967 came the crowning achievement of the program when our tournament team advanced to the coveted Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.  The North Roseland Allstars reached the finals there, losing out to West Tokyo, Japan.  In so doing they became directly international runners up and indirectly the national champions!

As the years passed, various changes occurred in the Roseland Community and the Little League fields plummeted.  However, in 1999  RLL was reestablished, but not without a struggle and a group of volunteers, along with the 9th Ward Alderman Anthony Beale.

Roseland Little League's fields are located at 124th & 125th on S. Michigan Avenue and 111th and Indiana on the campus of Gwendolyn Brooks H.S.  The fields are no longer an eyesore, they are a source of pride to the entire community.  Our ballparks by many are considered to be among the best in the state.  All of our fields feature television quality night lights, covered bleachers electronic score boards, underground sprinklers, full service concessions stand and convenient restroom facilities.

Currently RLL caters to 200 boys and girls ages 5-18 years old.  Registration has began for the 2018 season.  Opening day is May 19, 2018.
